My Number Card Can Now Be Added to Wallet
The "iPhone My Number Card" is a service that digitizes the physical plastic My Number Card and allows it to be stored in the Apple Wallet on iPhone. Think of it as having your My Number Card stored in the same Wallet location where Mobile Suica and Apple Pay cards are saved.
By utilizing biometric authentication through Face ID or Touch ID, users will be able to more easily access administrative services such as logging into My Number Portal and obtaining various certificates at convenience stores.
The main feature of this service is that various procedures can be completed with just facial or fingerprint authentication, without needing to take out the physical card. Compared to traditional card-based authentication, this offers improved convenience. It's great that we no longer need to tap the plastic card every time we log into My Number Portal.
