Two Solar Panels, Front and Back

The front solar collector gathers sunlight while the watch is worn, extending battery life from a baseline of 25 days up to 34 days under exposure of three hours per day at roughly 50,000 lux. The rear panel, made of glass ceramic, offers roughly twice the light-collecting area of the front panel. Separately, the watch supports up to 41 hours of continuous operation in its Accuracy GPS mode.

Because the rear panel can also charge simply by leaving the watch face-up in sunlight, users do not need a cable during extended outdoor trips or long-distance hikes. The watch carries a 660mAh battery and includes an "Outdoor Extreme" battery mode that further trims power consumption.

3,000-Nit AMOLED Display with a Titanium Bezel

The display is a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel with peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, keeping the screen readable even in bright outdoor sunlight. The bezel is made of Grade 5 titanium, paired with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for added durability. The watch is rated for 10 ATM water resistance, supporting recreational diving down to 50 meters.

Preloaded Maps and Over 180 Workout Modes

Aimed at hikers and outdoor athletes, the T-Rex Dual Solar supports full-color preloaded maps along with downloadable contour and ski maps. It also offers intelligent route planning, waypoint navigation, and a climb-gradient curve display to help track elevation changes along a route.

The watch also includes more than 180 workout modes, Bluetooth calling, and a built-in flashlight that switches between red and white light.
