When replacing a smartphone, many people face the same dilemma: new phones are too expensive, but used phones raise battery concerns. Newsed Phone, an online used-smartphone store operated by NewsedTech Inc., tackles this anxiety head-on with its flagship lineup of used iPhones with 100% battery maximum capacity[1][2]. The company has also opened a new online store dedicated to this series, offering a wide range of models from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 17 series[1].
Answering the Biggest Worry About Used Phones: Battery Degradation
Battery degradation is the first reason people cite for avoiding used smartphones. There is no way to tell from the outside how many charge cycles a previous owner put the device through, and buyers often find themselves struggling with poor battery life soon after purchase.
Newsed Phone's "Battery 100%" series consists of used iPhones sold with their battery maximum capacity at 100%, exactly as the name suggests[1][2]. Because the battery condition is equivalent to a new device, buyers can avoid the classic used-phone risk of getting a handset with a worn-out battery from day one. The official site also features these devices as "new battery" iPhones, emphasizing that they can be used for years to come[2].
As for exterior condition, devices are graded in tiers: "A+ rank" for like-new units, "A rank" for units in excellent condition, and "B rank" and "C rank" for units that show some wear but come at lower prices[1][2]. If you want a battery in new condition but are flexible about cosmetics, choosing a lower rank is an easy way to stay within budget.
From iPhone SE to iPhone 17: A Wide Lineup Starting Under 20,000 Yen
The new store specializes in SIM-free used iPhones, covering everything from older models such as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 to the iPhone SE series, iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 series[1].
As a guide to pricing at the time of writing, a Battery 100% iPhone SE2 (64GB) starts at 16,000 yen, the popular iPhone SE3 (64GB) is 36,800 yen, the iPhone 12 Pro (128GB) is 45,800 yen, the iPhone 14 (256GB) starts at 87,800 yen, and the iPhone 15 (256GB) starts at 118,000 yen[1]. The lineup spans entry-level models in the 10,000-yen range up to relatively recent flagship models, letting buyers choose according to their budget.
Most devices are SIM-free, and each product page lists the carriers on which the device has been verified to work, so you can confirm compatibility with your current line before purchasing[1]. Payment options include major credit cards as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay[1].
Free Shipping and a Permanent Blacklist Guarantee, Run by Used-Phone Specialist NewsedTech
The new store also keeps its warranty policies simple and clear, an important point when buying used phones online. All items ship free of charge, and every device comes with a permanent "red ROM" (blacklist) guarantee[1]. A red ROM is a device that has been network-blocked by a carrier, typically because a previous owner failed to pay off the handset — one of the most cited risks of buying used phones. With this store, such cases are covered permanently.
Only devices that pass the company's strict in-house quality inspection standards are put on sale[1]. The operator, NewsedTech Inc. (secondhand dealer license No. 308950907045, Tokyo Metropolitan Public Safety Commission), specializes in used smartphones and tablets, and also runs a Rakuten Ichiba store, a Yahoo store, and a trade-in service alongside its own online shop[2]. Even first-time buyers of used devices can purchase from an established specialist with confidence.
Summary
Newsed Phone's "Battery 100%" series offers a refreshingly simple answer — 100% battery maximum capacity — to the long-standing dilemma of "new is too expensive, used means battery anxiety." With free shipping, a permanent blacklist guarantee, and a lineup ranging from budget models under 20,000 yen to the latest series, the new store looks like a strong option for anyone considering a used iPhone.
