HONOR has begun the global rollout of its foldable flagship, the Magic V6. Following the March announcement, pricing and availability firmed up first in Malaysia and Singapore, with pre-orders running from June 4 to June 11, 2026. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are set to follow. The headline is that HONOR fits a 6,660mAh battery — the largest currently found in any foldable — into a body just 8.75mm thick when closed. With a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 inside and cross-ecosystem features that reach even iPhone and Mac, it is a phone built to strip away the compromises foldables usually demand.

A Foldable That Feels Like a Regular Phone: 8.75mm and 219g
The first thing the Magic V6 leans on is a slimness that seems unlikely for a foldable. It measures 8.75mm when closed, 4.0mm when open (White model), and weighs about 219g. Because foldables carry two display panels and a hinge mechanism, they tend to end up thick and heavy, and that has long been a barrier to wider adoption. HONOR says the closed Magic V6 aims for an in-hand feel close to a conventional slab phone, trying to pair the usefulness of a foldable with everyday portability.
A Silicon-Carbon Battery: 6,660mAh, the Largest in Any Foldable
Battery capacity usually works against thinness, but the Magic V6 carries a 6,660mAh cell — currently the largest in any foldable phone. This is made possible by a silicon-carbon battery. By using roughly 25% silicon in the anode, it reaches an energy density of 921Wh/L, gaining capacity without making the body thicker. Compared with a conventional lithium-ion battery, it packs more capacity into the same volume. Charging covers 80W wired and 66W wireless, and wireless reverse charging lets the phone share power with other devices. Power efficiency and connectivity are handled by HONOR's own E2 Power chip.
Built to Survive Drops, With Bright 6,000-nit Screens
Durability gets serious attention as well. At the core is the HONOR Super Steel Hinge, which claims a tensile strength of 2,800 MPa, combined with an AI-controlled cushioning system designed to absorb and spread out the impact of a fall. The inner display uses UTG flexible glass to keep the crease less visible, while the outer screen is protected by an anti-scratch glass with a 5,600-layer silicon nitride coating. The phone also carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, standing up to dust as well as high-pressure water jets. Both screens support an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate; the 6.52-inch outer panel peaks at 6,000 nits and the 7.95-inch inner panel at 5,000 nits, with eye-care touches such as 1.5% reflectivity and 4320Hz PWM dimming.
AI at the Core of the Cameras and MagicOS 10
Powering everything is Qualcomm's latest flagship-class chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with configurations up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage. The cameras are branded the HONOR AI Falcon Camera, a triple setup pairing a 50MP main sensor with a 64MP periscope telephoto (1/2-inch sensor, CIPA 6.5-stop stabilization) and a 50MP ultra-wide. After capture, AI helps with color correction, cinematic processing, and even turning stills into video. The software runs on MagicOS 10 and adds several HONOR AI Agents that take over tasks like settings, photo organization, and suggestions. There is also Fast Flex, which switches to a dual split-screen layout with a folding motion, and a PC-grade multitasking mode that runs three apps at once. The phone integrates Google Gemini, including Gemini Live for asking context-aware questions while sharing your camera feed or screen, and buyers get a three-month trial of Google AI Pro, which unlocks Veo 3.1 video generation, Nano Banana Pro image generation, and 5TB of cloud storage.
Cross-Ecosystem Links to iPhone and Mac
A standout feature of the Magic V6 is how it works with Apple devices. Through HONOR Share and Quick Share, it connects with hardware such as the iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch to support one-tap file transfers, notification mirroring, and dual-screen workflows alongside a Mac. For people who use an Android phone while also living in the Apple ecosystem, easier cross-device file handling is a practical draw.
Price and Availability
The Magic V6 comes in four colors: Red, Gold, White, and Black. In Malaysia, the 16GB + 512GB model is RM7,699 (about 310,000 yen) and the 16GB + 1TB model is RM8,899 (about 360,000 yen). In Singapore, the 16GB + 512GB model is SGD2,599 (about 320,000 yen) and the 16GB + 1TB model is SGD2,899 (about 360,000 yen). In the UK it sells for £1,999.99 (about 430,000 yen). The rollout is expected to expand to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other markets. As of now, there is no official word on a Japan release.
