Why this show is a must-watch

Ed Stafford gets dropped — nearly naked — into places like the Gobi Desert or the jungles of Guatemala, where he has to forage for food and survive on his own for 10 days.

There's no camera crew and no support staff. It's just him, alone, documenting his attempt to survive these brutal environments — a truly hardcore survival show.

You can't help thinking, "Is this guy actually going to be okay?" — but watching it makes you realize humans are surprisingly tough. The sheer intensity got me hooked.

By the way, Ed has become enormously popular in the YouTube comments: "It's Ed (the sequel)! Bring out more Ed!"
