Pixelmator Pro Reaches Across Every Stage of Creation
Pixelmator Pro takes on a larger role in this update[1]. A frame selected in Final Cut Pro can be sent directly to Pixelmator Pro to build a thumbnail or social media graphic, then dropped back onto the timeline. In Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, an image in a document can be opened in Pixelmator Pro, with edits saved back to the document automatically.

In the music app Logic Pro, the Chord ID has been rebuilt to handle extended and inverted chords, as well as distorted guitar and slightly out-of-tune piano[1]. As a result, the auto-accompaniment Session Player responds more quickly to chord changes. A new Producer Project lets users explore the full session behind "Shoulda Never," produced by Grammy-winning producer Khris Riddick-Tynes.
