Motorola will unveil a new smartphone, the moto g77 power, in India on July 8. It is positioned as a battery-focused spin-off of the moto g77 that arrived this January, with a much larger battery. Ahead of the launch, the Indian retailer Flipkart put up a listing page that revealed most of the key specifications, including a 7,000mAh battery, a 6.72-inch 120Hz display, and a 50MP camera built around a Sony sensor.

The information comes not from an official Motorola announcement but from a listing page prepared by Flipkart in India. Alongside the July 8 launch date, the page shows the phone's design and some of its specs, painting a fairly concrete picture of the device even before the formal reveal. Pricing, availability, and the full configuration are expected to be announced at the July 8 event.
As its name suggests, the moto g77 power puts battery life front and center. Where the moto g77 released in January leaned on its cameras and display quality, this model is built around a large-capacity battery.
A 7,000mAh battery is the main draw
The biggest highlight is the 7,000mAh battery. The standard moto g77 carried a 5,200mAh cell, so the power adds roughly 1,800mAh on top of that. Motorola is said to promise up to three days of use on a single charge, making it a fit for people who find it hard to charge frequently or who spend long stretches away from an outlet.
That said, the charging speed (wattage) has not been disclosed yet. Large batteries tend to take longer to charge, so how far it supports fast charging is a point to confirm at the launch.
Cameras, display, and a well-rounded feature set
For photography, the rear main camera is a 50MP unit using a Sony LYTIA 600 image sensor. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the front-facing selfie camera is 32MP.
The display is a 6.72-inch Full HD+ panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The back comes in three Pantone-curated colors with a soft vegan leather (synthetic leather) finish.
Audio and durability are covered as well. The phone has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, plus compliance with the U.S. Department of Defense's MIL-STD-810H durability standard. It ships with Android 16 and is said to be upgradable to Android 17.
What is still unknown: price and processor
On the other hand, the processor (SoC) at the phone's core has yet to be revealed. Because the moto g line centers on affordable mid-range models, how the balance between performance and price is set will be a focal point for buyers. A Japanese rollout has not been announced at this point, but in the Indian market it looks set to draw attention as an affordable big-battery phone.
