Anthropic unveiled a new platform called Claude Marketplace on September 23, 2026, giving businesses a single place to browse Claude extensions, third-party integrations, and implementation support services. The move brings together connectors that link Claude to outside tools, software built on top of Claude by other companies, and consulting firms that help organizations roll Claude out, aiming to simplify how enterprises bring Claude into their daily operations.

Over 2,000 Connectors and Plugins in One Catalog

One pillar of Claude Marketplace is its catalog of connectors and plugins that link Claude to outside services. More than 2,000 integrations were available at launch, including widely used business tools such as Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion, and Salesforce. Rather than hunting down and configuring third-party integrations one by one, teams can now discover and set them up from a single storefront.

Under the hood, these connectors run as servers built on Anthropic's Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the Marketplace presents each one on its own dedicated page, much like listings in a storefront. Agent Skills, which teach Claude specific workflows, are distributed through the same framework, so connectors and skills sit side by side on the same foundation.

Claude-Powered Software and Consulting Partners, Too

The Marketplace also spans two more categories. One covers third-party products and agents built on Claude, featuring names such as security firm CrowdStrike, coding tool Cursor, legal-tech players Harvey and Legora, no-code builder Lovable, and data platform Snowflake. The other lists implementation partners surfaced through Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, including major consulting firms Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte.

Snowflake said the arrangement makes it easier for Anthropic customers to adopt its platform, since they can apply a portion of their already-committed spend toward the purchase. Atlassian pointed to a similar benefit, noting that customers can ask Claude a question and trust that it truly understands their business context.

Committed Spend Can Be Applied Directly to Purchases

The purchasing mechanics stand out as well. Companies that have signed committed-spend agreements with Anthropic can put a portion of that already-contracted budget directly toward products and agents listed in the Marketplace. It's a model similar to how cloud marketplaces let customers draw down pre-committed budgets to pay for third-party software.

It's worth noting that the Marketplace itself functions as a catalog rather than a contracting party. The actual agreement sits between the customer and each individual vendor, and matters such as data handling, support, and liability follow the terms set by whichever company is providing the listed product or service. Businesses adopting a listing still need to review that vendor's own terms before moving forward.

Summary

With the launch of Claude Marketplace, Anthropic has combined three previously separate pieces — outside integrations, Claude-powered software, and implementation partners — into a single platform. Between a catalog of more than 2,000 connectors, major consulting names like Accenture and Deloitte, and the ability to apply already-committed spend directly to purchases, the launch looks set to make it easier for enterprises to bring Claude deeper into their operations.
