iQOO's Neo series, a steady performer in China's performance-focused mid-range, looks set to step away from Snapdragon. The next model, referred to as the iQOO Neo11S, is said to carry a custom-tuned MediaTek Dimensity 9500 alongside a 2K flat panel and a battery larger than 9,000mAh. iQOO has confirmed neither the name nor the specifications, but a model number believed to belong to the phone has already appeared on Geekbench.

The chipset switch is the headline

The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a tipster known for Chinese handset leaks. According to that account, the Neo11S (a tentative name) will use a deeply customized version of MediaTek's Dimensity 9500. Clock speeds are said to sit slightly below the standard part, with iQOO compensating through software tuning aimed at performance, gaming stability and power efficiency.

That is the core of the story. The iQOO Neo 11, released on October 30, 2025, ran Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite. If a mid-cycle refresh in the same series changes silicon vendors, frame-rate behavior and thermal characteristics will differ from the previous model as well. Running the chip at reduced clocks also reads as a choice favoring sustained output over peak numbers.

A 2K flat panel built on a new domestic process

The display is described as a 2K flat panel running at 144Hz. It is said to use a new domestic manufacturing process, and the leak claims no other phone in this price band pairs a 2K panel with the Dimensity 9500.

The Neo 11 already used a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel at 2K and 144Hz, so resolution stays where it was. What changes is sourcing, and the story is easier to read as a Chinese panel process moving down into a higher-spec mid-range device.

Above 9,000mAh, with wireless charging likely dropped

Battery capacity is reported to exceed 9,000mAh. The previous model held 7,500mAh, so that is an increase of more than 1,500mAh. Wired charging stays at 100W, while wireless charging reportedly does not make the cut.

Combining a larger cell with a slim body is difficult, and a wireless charging coil works against both thickness and heat. Dropping the coil in favor of capacity is not unusual at this battery size.

The V2545A listing on Geekbench

Geekbench carries an entry for model number V2545A, believed to be the Neo11S. It lists 16GB of memory and Android 16, with scores of 3,395 in single-core and 10,312 in multi-core.

Four configurations are mentioned: 12GB plus 256GB, 12GB plus 512GB, 16GB plus 256GB, and 16GB plus 512GB. Three colors are said to be planned, named Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser. Biometrics are handled by a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and the phone is expected to carry both IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Lining it up against the previous model

Item iQOO Neo 11 (announced October 2025) iQOO Neo11S (rumored)
SoC Snapdragon 8 Elite Dimensity 9500 (custom-tuned)
Display 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED / 2K / 144Hz 2K flat panel / 144Hz
Battery 7,500mAh Above 9,000mAh
Wired charging 100W 100W
Wireless charging Not supported Expected not supported
Ingress protection IP68 and IP69 IP68 and IP69
Price From 2,599 CNY (about 61,000 yen) Not announced

※1 CNY = 23.4 JPY (as of August 1, 2026)

Read through the numbers alone, the picture is a refresh that invests in the battery and the chipset while reusing the groundwork of the previous model. For a mid-range refresh, that is a reasonable way to build it.

Summary

The iQOO Neo11S is reported to center on a custom-tuned Dimensity 9500 and a battery above 9,000mAh, paired with a 2K, 144Hz flat panel. Geekbench shows a listing for model number V2545A with scores of 3,395 single-core and 10,312 multi-core. iQOO, however, has published neither the name nor the specifications, and release timing and pricing remain unset. If the series does move from Snapdragon to Dimensity, real-world gaming performance and thermals will need to be assessed from scratch. An official announcement is the next thing to wait for.
