Indian electronics brand UBON has announced two high-capacity power banks, the PB-SX501 Reload and the PB-SX701 Bunker. They offer 40,000mAh and 60,000mAh of capacity respectively, and both support 22.5W fast charging. Along with multiple output ports, each model includes a built-in flashlight and a battery-level indicator, a setup aimed at extended use during travel and outdoors. Here is a rundown of the key published specifications.
Built for keeping the power on for longer
UBON is a consumer-focused brand that makes chargers and audio gear in India. These two models are aimed at people who charge several devices many times a day, such as smartphones, tablets and wearables, and at users who want to avoid running out of battery while on the move or away from an outlet.
Both models support the PD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) fast-charging standards, with output rated at 22.5W. For a smartphone, that is enough to recover a meaningful amount of charge in a short time. The two share a flashlight (Hi-Beam Torch) with adjustable brightness, an ambient light, an LED display for checking the remaining charge, and a carrying strap. By doubling as a light source, they are designed to be useful for camping, power outages and outdoor work.
The Reload packs 40,000mAh with four ports
The PB-SX501 Reload is the standard model, pairing 40,000mAh of capacity with 22.5W charging. It has four output ports in total, two USB and two Type-C, so it can charge several devices at once.
It suits sharing power with family or friends, or charging a smartphone and wireless earbuds in parallel. Like the other model, it includes the flashlight, ambient light, LED level indicator and strap. It is priced at 8,990 rupees (about 15,000 yen).
The Bunker offers 60,000mAh for heavy users
For those who need more power, there is the PB-SX701 Bunker. With a large 60,000mAh capacity, UBON says it can recharge multiple devices several times on a single charge.
The number of output ports is increased to five in total, three USB and two Type-C, expanding how many devices can be charged simultaneously. It supports 22.5W PD/QC charging, and shares the flashlight, ambient light, LED indicator and strap with the Reload. It is priced at 9,990 rupees (about 17,000 yen), keeping the premium for the larger capacity to just 1,000 rupees.

A caveat that comes with large capacity: it may not be allowed on planes
When choosing a high-capacity power bank, it is worth keeping airline carry-on limits in mind. Most airlines manage lithium-ion battery capacity in watt-hours (Wh): roughly up to 100Wh can be carried on board without approval, 100 to 160Wh requires the airline's prior approval (up to two units), and anything above 160Wh cannot be brought on board at all.
Wh is calculated as "capacity (mAh) x voltage (V) / 1000," and at an assumed 3.7V, 100Wh works out to about 27,000mAh. Applying that, the Reload's 40,000mAh comes to roughly 148Wh, putting it in the range that needs prior approval, while the Bunker's 60,000mAh works out to roughly 222Wh, which by this calculation cannot be taken on board. The actual figure should be judged from the Wh printed on the product, but both are larger than a typical power bank. Note, too, that power banks cannot go in checked luggage because of the fire risk and must be carried in the cabin as hand luggage. These are marketed as travel-friendly products, but if air travel is involved, it is safer to check the capacity and whether it can be carried on board beforehand.
Price and availability
UBON co-founder Lalit Arora said the company wants to meet the growing demand for reliable power as people increasingly rely on multiple connected devices throughout the day.
The Reload is priced at 8,990 rupees (about 15,000 yen) and the Bunker at 9,990 rupees (about 17,000 yen). Both will be rolled out through major retail stores and e-commerce platforms in India. There is no word yet on a release or pricing in Japan.
Summary
UBON's PB-SX501 Reload and PB-SX701 Bunker are power banks that combine large 40,000mAh and 60,000mAh capacities with 22.5W fast charging, four to five output ports, and extras like a flashlight and a battery-level display. They are built for charging multiple devices and securing power outdoors or on the move, at prices ranging from about 15,000 yen to about 17,000 yen. That said, capacities this large come with airline carry-on restrictions, so matching the capacity to your actual use looks like the key to choosing well.
