Ask Corporation will release the Thermaltake Stage TG ARGB series of mid-tower PC cases on August 28. Expected street prices run from around 20,980 yen to around 25,980 yen. What sets the series apart is a stage built into the front section of the interior, meant for displaying figurines and small items. The CT EX INFINITY ARGB Sync 3Pack case fan series arrives the same day.
Adding a Place to Display Things Inside a Case Built for Showing Off
Tempered glass PC cases have long since settled into their role as boxes for showing off what is inside. Until now, though, the only things that could go in there were PC components: the motherboard, the graphics card, a water block. The Stage TG ARGB series adds one more shelf to that space.
The stage sits toward the front of the chassis interior. A pillarless structure combined with tempered glass panels leaves little in the way from either the front or an angle, so a figurine placed there stays visible across a wide viewing range. A separate display shelf on the desk eats into surface area, but building one into the case adds no footprint at all. Addressable RGB LEDs already inside the chassis handle the lighting, so there is no need to rig up separate illumination.
The 450 and the 500 Differ in the Shape of the Glass
The series comes in two models. The Stage 450 TG ARGB uses separate tempered glass panels for the front and the side, while the Stage 500 TG ARGB uses a single curved tempered glass panel. The choice comes down to whether you prefer a defined edge or an uninterrupted curve.
The other difference is display support. The Stage 450 TG ARGB accepts an optional 6-inch LCD panel on the power supply shroud, driven through Thermaltake's TT RGB PLUS software to show images, GIF animations, CPU temperature, utilization and similar readouts. With a small monitoring screen sitting directly below the stage, the case doubles as a display shelf and a dashboard.
Four Fans Fitted as Standard
On cooling, both models ship with three 120mm fans on the side and one at the rear. The fans carry addressable RGB LEDs and an infinity mirror, producing the effect of a light source receding into the distance.
Thermaltake publishes the following specifications for the Stage 450 TG ARGB (model number CA-12B-00M1WN-00).
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Motherboard support | Mini-ITX / Micro-ATX / ATX |
| Side panel | 4mm tempered glass x 2 |
| Fan capacity | Up to seven 120mm fans |

With room for a 450mm graphics card and a 175mm CPU cooler, the space handed over to the display area does not appear to squeeze the build itself. Black and Snow color options are available.
The Fans Launching Alongside Attach Magnetically
The CT EX INFINITY ARGB Sync 3Pack series sells as a three-fan pack, priced from around 10,980 yen to around 11,980 yen. Each fan carries a dual infinity mirror at the hub, with an outer ring and an inner ring appearing to float, and comes in 120mm and 140mm sizes in black and white.
Synchronization works with compatible motherboards from ASUS, ASRock, GIGABYTE and MSI. Mounting uses MagForce 2.0, which supports magnetic attachment over pogo pin contacts and daisy chaining, so adding fans does not necessarily mean adding cables. The fans use hydraulic bearings and include anti-vibration rubber pads.
Summary
The Stage TG ARGB series takes an angle rarely seen before: putting a display area inside the PC case itself. A pillarless design and tempered glass keep the view clear, and the Stage 450 TG ARGB additionally supports an optional 6-inch LCD panel. Release is set for August 28, with expected street prices of around 20,980 yen to 25,980 yen for the cases and around 10,980 yen to 11,980 yen for the three-fan packs.
