Anker Japan released the new flagship Anker Prime Power Bank (20100mAh, 220W), the matching Anker Prime Charging Base (150W, 3 Ports) that recharges the power bank at up to 100W via pogo pins, and a bundle that pairs both products on April 20, 2026.
The power bank ships at 19,990 yen on its own and at 28,990 yen as a bundle, making it possible to combine a desktop charging hub that handles two laptops at once with a high-capacity power bank that meets carry-on limits.
A 220W Total, 140W Per-Port Power Bank
The new model carries two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. Each USB-C port delivers up to 140W, and using all three at once yields a maximum of 220W (100+100+20W), enough to fast-charge two MacBook Pro-class laptops simultaneously. Capacity is 20100mAh, which Anker rates at roughly four full iPhone charges. Input is also fast: the unit accepts up to 100W and reaches 50% in about 25 minutes.
The body measures roughly 147 x 44 x 51 mm and weighs about 520 g, with Anker noting that the device is shorter in height than an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Capacity stays under the 100Wh airline carry-on threshold and the power bank is PSE-certified for use in Japan.
The unit pairs with the dedicated Anker app over Bluetooth, allowing users to monitor per-port output, remaining charge, charging history, and to pick a charging mode tuned to a specific device. A side-mounted display shows wattage and remaining capacity directly without opening the app.

Six Ports on the Desk, Take the Battery With You
The matching Anker Prime Charging Base (150W, 3 Ports) is a desktop dock that recharges the Power Bank cable-free at up to 100W via pogo pins on the bottom of the battery. The base itself carries two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, so when the power bank sits on the dock, three ports on the battery plus three ports on the base bring the total to six simultaneously usable outputs. The intended use is to leave the dock on the desk as a charging station and lift the power bank straight off it when leaving the office.
The base measures roughly 103 x 103 x 23 mm and weighs about 350 g, easy to keep next to a laptop or tablet. The bundle is 28,990 yen at the official store, which is 3,990 yen less than buying the power bank (19,990 yen) and the charging base (12,990 yen) separately. On Amazon.co.jp and Rakuten's official Anker store, an early-shipment 10% off coupon is available, dropping the bundle to 26,091 yen.

Timing Aligns With Japan's New In-Flight Battery Rules
The launch lines up with a regulatory shift at Japan's two largest airlines. Starting with flights on April 24, 2026, ANA and JAL apply a new rule that limits passengers to two power banks regardless of capacity and bans both charging the power bank itself and using it to power other devices while in the cabin.

The rule carries Civil Aeronautics Act penalties (up to two years' imprisonment or a fine of up to 1 million yen). Within a two-unit cap, the choice of which single battery to bring comes down to balancing capacity against port count, and a model that fits inside the 100Wh limit while delivering up to 140W per port for laptop charging stands out as a strong travel pick.
The flip side is that the cabin is now a no-charge zone for the device itself, so a full top-up before departure and conserving battery during the flight are baseline behaviors.
Anker Japan also published a guide to the new rule and how to navigate it.

Summary
The Anker Prime Power Bank (20100mAh, 220W) packages 140W per-port laptop fast charging and, with the matching base, six-port simultaneous charging into one ecosystem.
Pricing is 19,990 yen for the battery alone and 28,990 yen for the bundle, with an early-shipment 10% off coupon trimming the bundle further. With the airline mobile-battery rules tightening on April 24, the launch is well-timed for travelers who want to think through carry-on rules and pre-departure charging routines alongside the spec sheet.
