I'm going to introduce "RAFT," a craft-survival game developed by Redbeet Interactive that I had a great time with. It also supports multiplayer, so you can have a blast playing with several friends. You can download it from Steam, and the price is 1,980 yen (about 14 USD) at the time of writing. It's still an Early Access game right now, so the things you can do or some of the controls might change going forward.
Game Details
The player's goal is to survive a grand ocean adventure on a tiny raft. Secure water and food, gather the resources drifting in the ocean, and gradually expand your raft.

First, Pick Up Trash and Make Your Raft Bigger!
When you start the game, you begin sitting on a tiny raft. Since you'll want to secure water and food first, use the hook to gather trash that's drifting in the ocean. Once you've collected a decent amount of resources, I recommend crafting a "Building Hammer" and getting on with expanding your raft.
Secure Water and Food to Survive!
In this game, if you take it easy at the start, hunger and thirst hit you at lightning speed and it's game over, so once your raft has gotten somewhat bigger, hurry up and secure water and food.
If you craft a "Simple Purifier," you'll be able to produce fresh water. As I'll mention later, it's better not to place it too close to the edge.
Next, craft a "Cup" so you can scoop up seawater, put it into the purifier, and after waiting for a while you'll get the fresh water you've been waiting for.
Food can be obtained through fishing, farming, inside barrels, and so on, but personally I recommend fishing. If you build a "Simple Grill" and cook the fish, it'll restore a decent amount of your hunger. Potatoes and beets can be reliably obtained by making a farm plot and growing them, but compared to fish they don't restore as much.
Drive Off the Sharks That Show Up Regularly with a Wooden Spear!
Every now and then, a shark will come to attack your raft and try to break it. If you leave it alone, the raft you worked so hard to expand will be chewed apart, so craft an offensive weapon — the "Wooden Spear" — and stab away at it.
You can drive off the shark in 4 hits with a wooden spear, or 2 hits with an iron spear. Drive it off enough times and you can even kill the shark. (When killed, it won't appear again for a certain time, and you'll get shark meat.)
Once you've successfully driven it off, don't forget to repair the damaged parts with the building hammer!
Deserted Islands Are Full of Precious Resources, Both Above and Below!
While drifting on the ocean, you'll occasionally find deserted islands. Palm trees, mangoes, and the like grow on these islands, so you can get plenty of food and lumber. Also, sand, clay, and precious ores are sometimes buried beneath the island, so be sure to collect them.
If you can gather enough crafted blocks made from sand and clay to build a furnace, you'll be able to make upgraded hooks and water purifiers.
When you find a deserted island, make an Anchor and moor your raft so you can take your time gathering resources. Coming ashore is basically tough because the land is too high up, so you'll need to build stairs or scaffolding.
Once You've Got Some Breathing Room, Make Your Raft Fancy with Building!
Right-clicking with the building hammer lets you do all sorts of construction. You can install walls, doors, and so on to turn your raft into a luxurious ship. On top of that, if you make a Brush, you can even paint your ship.
